Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

With out these brave men and women you would not be flying anyone. You should put thim in first class and take care of them, half as much as they take care of us. That would be if you could get the business perosn to give up the seat for one (Most will not because there sooooooooooooo important.

The government reimburses the military member for baggage fees on official orders. If they really want to show a gesture of good will, they should waive the fees for active duty military and their families going on leave.

I say free booze and first class food for military in coach!

Brian - does it take long to get reimbursed? For lower ranks, the out-of-pocket may hurt. A credit card could buy some time if they don't have cash on hand, assuming reimbursement takes place before payment and interest are due.

As a mother of two boys in the military, one a Marine reservist and the other a Navy Corpsman, I would hope that they would waive any fees for these fine men and women. In fact they should be allowed to fly for free as my brother did during the Vietnam Conflict. They have freely made the choice to defend their country and don't ask for anything in return. It's the least we can do for them.
